With a modest budget for inspiration creative ingenuity was implemented to transform a house of small dark rooms into an open, light-filled, suburban Portland home for a first time homeowner. Working within the original space, an open great room with kitchen, laundry, dining and conversation area was created by removing a wall. The new interior design features a kitchen with both open and closed storage, ample workspace, a unique pantry/ laundry closet and flexible dining arrangements. Both the hall bathroom and master bathroom have been reconfigured to accommodate beautiful tiled showers. The hall bath has a sleek pedestal sink and the master bath features a beautiful console vanity with vessel sink.
